Lynch Kingsley is the heavy bass sound that comes out from your speakers, the hyperkinetic rhythms that drill your head, hypnotic raw vocal cuts, sometimes a little bit nasty but, at the same time, deep atmospheric textures, angelic voices, walls of reverb and shimmering synths. The kind of music that makes you wanna slam your body to but, at the same time, drowns you into an ocean of crystalline and enigmatic atmospheres. Heʼs inspired by early 90ʼs jungle, hip-hop, footwork, bass music, forward-thinking drumʼnʼbass. But you can clearly see he truly loves shoegaze, jazz (Sun Ra, Sun Ra, Sun Ra), post-rock, fusion, drone-ambient and the list can go on forever. Movies are also a big part of himself, heʼs a movie nerd in love with David Lynch, Cronenberg, Takashi Miike, Sion Sono… And gets a lot of inspiration from the theatre.
He likes to sink everything he does into deep atmospheric reverberations and complex ambient textures. He released a self-produced debut album “In The Past Her Memories Were Here” on September 2012 and a bunch of split albums under the Sirona Records label.
